Initial 10 GB Global Data Coverage

If the jetfi G4 you purchased comes with 10GB initial global data, this data can be used in 136 countries. It includes all the covered countries (please check “Coverage” for detail) minus Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia.
  1. Purchase Data (Data Top-up):
    1.  If your jetfi G4 still has data and is connected to the internet, you can click on “Data Top-Up ” icon on the upper right corner of the main screen to purchase additional data plans. If your device already runs out of data and is not connected to the internet, you can use your smartphone or computer that is connected to the internet to go to go to the jetfi Data Store, data top-up site at to purchase additional data. Detail instructions can be found by clicking on the Purchase More Data banner on the bottom of the screen.

    2.  We recommend top-up the data using your smartphone or computer browser to access the top-up website since the G4 built-in browser may not provide the optimal user experience.

    3. For detail of the data top-up process please refer to the following instructional video.
  2. Top-Up Data Plan:
    1.  Day Pass Data Plan: Jetfi offers 500MB per day, 1GB per day and in some countries 3GB per day, day pass data plans. All the day pass plans come with unlimited data, after the high speed 500MB, 1GB or 3GB daily quota is reached, the speed will throttle according to the following rules, but you can still access the internet at the slower speed. Using your jetfi device you can connect to 4G networks in most countries. (if 4G is not available in the location, the device will automatically switch to 3G and 2G successively). However, in some countries we provide only 3G coverage due to limitations of local network providers. For a complete list of those countries click here.

500 MB and 1GB day pass plan provides data in the specified country from 00:00 to 24:00 according to each country ‘s reset time zone. At 24:00 any unused data will be lost, and the high quota will reset. If you used up the 500MB data before the reset time, the speed would throttle to 256kbps. You can use unlimited data at this speed until the reset time.

3 GB day pass plan has 3GB high speed data per day, after 3GB the speed will gradually throttle. From 3GB to 4 GB the speed is 1mpbs; from 4GB to 5GB the speed is 512kbps; after 5GB per day the speed will maintain at 256kbps. You can use unlimited data at this speed until the reset time.

    2. Click here to purchase (top-up) more data.

    3. Click here to check the complete coverage country list and the respective reset time zone in each country.
  3. Data Usage:
    1. You can check your data usage from the main screen of the jetfi G4 device. If you suspect that the data is being used up faster than it should, please check your smartphone to see if you have turned off all auto backup or auto update features for different APPS. Note that phone settings are different from when it detects Cellular Data vs Wi-Fi data, many bulk data updates (downloads and uploads) can happen during Wi-Fi mode. Please turn off all auto updates and backups if you want to conserve your high-speed data quota.

    2. Jetfi G4 has a default built-in data usage protection mode. We recommend to turn on this feature which detects and stop any application that is doing an backend backup or update to prevent unintended data usage. You can setup in the main display under More>> Data Usage Protection>> On.
  4. User Management and Blocklist:
A total of 5 terminals can concurrently connect to each jetfi G4. You can manage which devices can connect to the jetfi G4 Wi-Fi hotspot via User Management and Blacklist feature.

On the main display of jetfi G4 click “More”>>”User Management”, you can see all the terminals connected to jetfi. You can select the terminals to be added to the blacklist and stop the data usage from that device.

On the main display of jetfi G4 click “More”>>”Blacklist” you can see the list of all devices marked as blacklist. You can remove them from this list. Once the device is removed from the blacklist, it can reconnect to jetfi.
  5. SIM Slot:
Jetfi G4 has a built-in nano SIM slot, if you have a data SIM from your local operator, you insert your SIM and in the main display select “More”>> “SIM Card Manager” and change from VSIM to SIM 1 to activate. Once activated, the data will come from your SIM card instead of cloud data.
  6. Upgrade:
    1. Occasionally the firmware needs to perform a routine upgrade. When an upgrade is ready, but the jetfi G4 doesn’t have any data, you can connect to an exterior Wi-Fi to complete this process. To do so in the main display select “More”>>Update, slide to turn on Wi-Fi and select available Wi-Fi then enter the password. Once connected you can select Upgrade. Notice that you can be connected to external Wi-Fi and use the jetfi as a hotspot. Jetfi only serves as a hotspot when it is connected to cloud data or SIM data. Wi-Fi option should be turned off unless you are performing an upgrade, otherwise it would prevent your terminals from connecting to jetfi.

    2. If the device has data and is connected to the Internet in the main display select “More” >> “Upgrade” and press the “Upgrade” button. This process will use system data and not use the user data quota you have purchased.
  7. Factory Reset:
From time to time you may need to perform a Factory Reset. To do so from the main display please select “More”>>”About”>>”Factory Reset” Click on the Factory Reset button and OK
  8. Battery recharge:
The Type C charging cable is included in the packaging. It may take 4-6 hours to charge the device completely starting from empty. Under normal circumstances the battery should last between 12 – 15 hours. (hours may vary depending on individual usage and how many terminals are connected)
  9. Hotspot Maximum Connection:
Up to 5 client terminals can connect to one jetfi G4 simultaneously. However more client terminals may mean more data usage which leads to reaching the daily quota faster. You can manage the connections via User Management and Blacklist features.
